The Four Things You Can Do With Money

free-money-screensaverThe average person today is financially illiterate. We are a nation of financial illiterates. Almost all the finacial information we recieved is from someone trying to sell us something.

Look in your Sunday paper and notice, “sale, 40% off”, or “sale, 25% off only today”… 40% or 25% off of what ? Have you noticed, that many times there is no price ?

A few things to consider:

Being that it is a store, the item is ALWAYS on sale. The question is how much is the price?  Which many times can not be found till you go to the store.

Knowing it is ALWAYS on sale, and you do NOT need the item, is not saving 100% by NOT buying the item, a much better deal than “saving” only 40% of something you do NOT need ?

Knowing it is ALWAYS on sale, and you do NOT need the item, how are you going to “save” 40%, by spending 60% to get what you do NOT need.

How many have been emotionally program to spend thinking that it is actually saving ?

There are only four things you can do with money.

They are:

Spend it in exchange for goods or services,

Donate it by giving it away voluntarily,

Save it for a future purpose,

Invest it with the hope of saving it for a future purpose in a place where it will increase in value.

Each of us are given the same 24 hours of a day. We can choose to spend, or donate part, or all of our money each day. Or, we can choose to save, or invest part, or all of our money for a future time where we may decide what four things we shall do with our money.

In future posts we shall learn the relationship between time, and wealth. What real money is, how it relates to value, time, and the economy. How you can increase the value of the same 24 hours of a day, so you have more of the day to do what you want. Till than, think of what you really would like to be doing, what are your goals in life…
